New group of Bedouin families leaves Sweida

A new group of Bedouin families left the city of Sweida last night as part of the fifth convoy that departed through the Busra al-Sham crossing, heading toward Damascus.

The convoy included around 300 individuals, among them several wounded persons, as well as the bodies of victims killed in the recent wave of violence. The convoy reached its destination without any reported incidents.

This development comes as part of ongoing efforts to evacuate civilians from conflict zones and provide assistance to those affected.

On the ground, ANHA correspondent in Sweida reported that clashes took place from last night into this morning in villages in the western countryside, following an infiltration attempt by members of the transitional government forces and armed loyalists. The attackers were brought under control, with reports of casualties among their ranks.

According to available information, the situation has stabilized since this morning, with confirmations that the attackers were fully neutralized.
