Netanyahu: we destroyed Hezbollah tunnel, continues to destroy its infrastructure

The Israeli Prime Minister stated that their army destroyed a large Hezbollah tunnel, indicating that military operations against the group, aimed at destroying its infrastructure, are ongoing.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today that the Israeli army destroyed a "large tunnel" belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah, confirming the continuation of military operations aimed at destroying the group's infrastructure, in addition to targeting its members.

In his remarks, Netanyahu added that he had issued instructions to address the threat posed by drones, and indicated that the operations against the group "will take time" before achieving their objectives.

The Israeli Prime Minister explained that they are continuing their operations within the "security zone" in southern Lebanon, including areas south and north of the Litani River.

The Israeli army had previously announced that it had found a network of Hezbollah tunnels in southern Lebanon near Israel's northern border, which it said were used by elite fighters.
