Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the summit of Mount Hermon in Syrian territory today, accompanied by Defense Minister Israel Katz, amid continued Israeli incursions into areas of southern Syria.

During the visit, Netanyahu said Israel controls the area stretching from Mount Hermon to the Yarmouk River and extending to the Mediterranean Sea, describing the situation as “absolute control,” according to Israeli media reports.

He added that Israel “will not allow any army to deploy along its border,” describing this as one of Israel’s achievements during the war. He also reaffirmed the continuation of pressure on Iran, saying that “the Iranian axis will ultimately fall.”
