Nechirvan Barzani, Mazloum Abdi talk about Kurds' future in Syria

President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani met with the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, and discussed recent political and security developments in Syria and the region, as well as ways to resolve matters concerning Kurds and enhance communication and cooperation with the Syrian interim government.

President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani met with the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, and discussed recent political and security developments in Syria and the region, as well as ways to resolve matters concerning Kurds and enhance communication and cooperation with the Syrian interim government.

According to the Kurdistan Region Presidency in its press statement, the two parties discussed the political and security situation in Syria and the region, as well as how to settle disputes among the Kurdish parties and improve coordination and communication with the Syrian Interim Government.

It is further reported that during the talks, it was stressed how important it is for the two parties to continue dialogue, stability, and peace in the region, as well as how to counter the terrorist threat.
