In light of the attacks launched by the Turkish occupying state on the regions of North and East Syria, which aim to exterminate the Kurds and erase their existence, and to create a rift among the components through the strife it incites, the importance of unity, solidarity, and joining the ranks of resistance emerges to ensure success in the battle and guarantee existence.

In the face of the challenges faced by the Kurdish people from the Turkish occupying state and its continuous threats to occupy more areas, the residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods affirmed that national unity is the way to thwart the occupation plans and ensure security, stability, and peace.

Rashida Hanan pointed out the goal of the Turkish occupation state with its attacks, saying: "The occupation attacks our areas with the aim of breaking our will and exterminating us, but that will never be achieved. They have waged a long war against us, and despite that, they have not been able to eliminate us because we resisted, defended our rights, and clung to our roots."

Rashida added: "Today as well, attacks are being launched on our areas, and our response will be as before through resistance, rallying around our forces, increasing the pace of our struggle, and strengthening our organization. Erdogan will not be able to eliminate us as he imagines and claims. His threats remain mere words, while we respond with our actions through our unity and joining the ranks of the resistance at all ages."

Rashida affirmed: "No matter how much the Turkish occupation tries to break our will, it will inevitably fail. It should occupy itself with other matters, for we are stronger than its capabilities and attempts. We are the rightful owners of the cause, and our path is the right one. We are democratic people, proud of our language and culture, and we will not allow anyone to infringe upon them."

She pointed out: "We defend ourselves, and this is our legitimate right. We are not like others (the Turkish occupation) who attack neighboring countries, occupy their lands, violate rights, and deny freedoms. On the contrary, we seek peace and to live freely. The more intense their attacks on our regions become, the more we will escalate our struggle. Erdogan's ancestors could not annihilate us when they were at the height of their power, so how can he threaten us now when he is on the brink of collapse?"

Rashida highlighted the Turkish occupation's overstepping of its boundaries by intervening in Syrian affairs, saying: "By what right does it interfere in our affairs? Why doesn't it resolve its own conflicts and fix its own country's situation? We will not allow it to decide our fate for us. The next phase will be drawn by us; our future as Syrians will be purely Syrian, without any interventions or role for Erdogan in our homeland."

For her part, Jumana Hamid noted the simultaneous attacks and resistance, saying: "Our regions are under colonial attacks, and we, the people of the region, are also waging a heroic resistance. Through our military forces and the unity of the people of the region, we will prevail."

Jumana saw the Turkish occupation's attacks as a plan to eliminate the Kurds, and she pointed out that "the main goal of these attacks is to erase the Kurdish presence, expand its influence, and occupy our regions to achieve its Ottoman colonial ambitions.

As for Sabah Dalo, she emphasized the necessity of solidarity in facing the attacks, saying: "By uniting the components of the region Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, and Assyrian and standing together in one trench and fighting together, we will thwart the plans of the occupation."

She emphasized "maintaining our presence by standing together and supporting each other in this ordeal and phase that will determine our fate by uniting our word and banner."

Sabah continued: "When we, the components, unite, no force will be able to eliminate us, as our strength lies in our unity and strong will. We need unity more than anything else at this stage, and we will resist until our last breath and do what the situation requires; because if we do not unite today, unity will not benefit us later. We have all the requirements, from politics, strength, will, and ideology, and we just need to unite to succeed in our struggle."
