Mercenary attempts sexual assault on woman in occupied Afrin

Local sources reported that a woman in the occupied city of Afrin was subjected to an attempted sexual assault by one of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.

According to local sources, the woman was attempting to cross the Syrian-Turkish border when she was attacked by one of the Turkish occupation's mercenaries. The woman, who chose to remain anonymous for security reasons, stated that she had contacted a smuggler named (Ziyad) to take her from the occupied city of Afrin to the city of Jarabulus. Upon her arrival, she was handed over to one of the Turkish occupation mercenaries, known as "Khalil Aloush" and nicknamed (Abu Aliwi), who was supposed to help her cross to the Turkish side. However, he kidnapped her and attempted to sexually assault her, but she managed to escape.

According to the same sources, the woman was threatened and pressured to withdraw the complaint she had filed against the two mercenaries. Additionally, she was forced to pay $200 to secure her release from prison and return to the occupied city of Afrin.
