Meeting between representatives of NE Syria and officials of Transitional Government kicks off

ANHA correspondent reported that a meeting between the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), representatives of North and East Syria, and officials of the Syrian Transitional Government began in Damascus, with the participation of US Special Envoy Thomas Barrack and representatives of the French government.

A political and military delegation from North and East Syria arrived in Damascus today to continue meetings and dialogue with the transitional government, as part of the follow-up to the implementation of the March 10 agreement signed between the SDF and the Transitional Government

On June 1 of this year, an official meeting was held in Damascus between a delegation from North and East Syria and a delegation from the Syrian Transitional Government, as part of the follow-up to the implementation of the March 10 agreement signed between the leadership of the SDF and the Damascus authorities.

A joint statement was issued at the meeting, including agreed-upon items, after discussing a number of issues of common interest. It was also agreed to schedule another session soon to complete the discussions and follow up on the implementation of what was agreed upon.
