 The people of the Euphrates Region and members of the Autonomous Administration institutions and political parties in the Euphrates Region participated in the celebration, which was organized in Martyr Agid Square in the city of Kobani.

The celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the co-chair of the Martyrs’ Families Council in the Sarrin district, Bahia Ali, gave a speech in which she said: “The 45th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party has become the birth of all oppressed peoples and a path to their salvation from genocides. With the founding of the party, the peoples who live In the depths of darkness again through the historical struggle of leader Abdullah Ocalan, but he is exposed to regional and international conspiracies, led by the Turkish occupation state against the free will of the peoples of the region.

For his part, the joint head of the Supply Directorate in the Euphrates region, Ahmed Daban, praised “the historical struggle of the Kurdistan liberation movement in standing up to the fascist regimes.

He added that "the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan is part of the international conspiracy to end his thought and philosophy," and called on the peoples of the region to rise up in order to break this isolation and achieve the leader's physical freedom.

The ceremony included singing performances by the "Botan" band affiliated with the Baqi Khedo Center for Culture and Art, the "Yasmine" band coming from the city of Afrin, and the "Barin" band affiliated with the Hilal Zerin movement in the Euphrates region.

The celebration ended with the slogans "Long live the Guerrilla resistance" and "There is no life without the leader."
