Mass crowds head to March 8th squares

Massive crowds of residents have gathered in the squares designated for the March 8th celebrations, which have been prepared in the regions of North and East Syria and Aleppo.

This morning, large crowds from the cities and towns of the regions of North and East Syria, as well as Aleppo, headed to the public squares to celebrate International Women's Day, which falls on March 8th of this year.

This year's March 8th celebrations are held under the slogan: "With the Philosophy of Woman, Life, Freedom, Toward a Democratic Syria."

Residents of North and East Syria begin heading to the squares

Raqqa: Residents are heading to the municipal stadium in the city of Raqqa.

Hasaka: Residents of the cities of Hasaka, Tal Tamr, Darbasiyah, Shaddadi, Tal Brak, and Al-Hol are heading to the municipal stadium in the city.

Qamishlo: Residents of the cities of Qamishlo, Tal Hamis, Tal Koçer, Derik, Tirbespiye, Çil Agha, Girkê Legê, and Amuda are heading to the Nowruz Square in Hemo.

Kobani: The celebration will begin with a mass march starting from the Women's Square and heading toward the organized celebration venue at Martyr Akid Square.

Aleppo

Aleppo: Residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods are heading to Nowruz Square in the Al-Shaqif area.

These celebrations reaffirm the role of women and society in building a democratic Syria and promoting the values embodied in the philosophy of "Woman, Life, Freedom," in light of the people's aspirations in North and East Syria for a future marked by greater justice and stability.
