Manbij Tribes: We will not let Turkey occupy new lands in Syria
Sheikhs and dignitaries of the tribes in the Manbij region affirmed their commitment to the Democratic Autonomous Administration project and the Syrian Democratic Forces, stating, "We will not allow Turkey to occupy new territories in Syria."
The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have intensified their attacks on the regions of North and East Syria since the night of October 23, both aerially and on the ground, and the Syrian Democratic Forces have exercised their right to legitimate defense against the Turkish attacks.
Sheikhs and dignitaries of the tribes in the Manbij region expressed in this context their attachment to their land and their support for their sons and daughters in the Syrian Democratic Forces to repel the attacks on the region, considering that these attacks target the project of people's brotherhood that they seek to strengthen.
The notable figure of the Bani Said tribe in the Manbij canton, Sheikh Fahd al-Shalash, said: "The Turkish attacks target the project of Democratic Autonomous Administration, and their goal is clear to everyone. Since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, they have been trying to expand within Syrian territory."
Al-Shalash explained: "By targeting and striking vital facilities, infrastructure, and Internal Security Forces, they aim to destabilize the region's security and stability, and create a gap between the administration and the people. However, the people of North and East Syria have become aware of these schemes."
He noted, "The silence of the guarantor countries (America and Russia) leads to the killing of innocents." He affirmed that the peoples of the North and East Syria region and their tribes are committed to the autonomous administration project and the Syrian Democratic Forces.
For his part, the notable of the Bubna tribe, Sheikh Hussein al-Mashi, condemned the continuous Turkish attacks on the region of North and East Syria, and affirmed their complete readiness to defend the autonomous administration project and Syrian territories.
For his part, the notable of the al-Aoun tribe in the Manbij canton, Sheikh Mohammed al-Jassem, said: "The Turkish attacks will not break our resolve. We are the sons of the tribes and components of North and East Syria. Our stance is clear, and we will not allow Turkey to occupy new lands in Syria."
Jassem condemned the Turkish occupation state's attacks on the region of North and East Syria, saying: "It is our duty as sons of Syria to protect this land."
Mohammed al-Jassem affirmed the tribes' readiness to defend the region of North and East Syria and stand united with the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Manbij Military Council.
