Listening to Leader Ocalan’s message sent to Jineology
The Zenobia Women’s Gathering Council, in coordination with the Jineology Research Center in Tabqa Canton, held a meeting today in the council hall in the city center, dedicated to reading and discussing the message sent by Leader Abdullah Ocalan to Jineology.
Leader Abdullah Ocalan sent a message about Jineology (Jineolojî), in which he stated that his project concerning women has been completed in terms of content, and what remains is its implementation. He also sent a rose branch that had grown in the prison yard.
In this context, the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, in coordination with the Jineology Research Center in Tabqa Canton, held a meeting with broad participation from members of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Tabqa Canton, representatives of civil institutions and organizations, women's movements, as well as members of the Zenobia Women's Gathering from various towns across the canton.
The meeting began with a moment of silence, followed by the reading of Leader Ocalan’s message by Wissam Al-Shamali, a member of the Jineology Research Center, who also provided a detailed explanation of its contents. She interacted with attendees’ questions, emphasizing the importance of Jineology in building women’s awareness and strengthening their position in society.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Kawthar Al-Ahmad, spokesperson for the Zenobia Women’s Gathering Council in Tabqa Canton, stated that the meeting centered around reading the Leader’s message, which calls for the intellectual and personal liberation of women, and highlights organization and education as essential tools to reach all women.
She added: “The message encourages women to free themselves from patriarchal mindsets and urges them to reflect on their achievements inspired by the thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. This reinforces the collective will to enter a new phase of struggle.”
Kawthar Al-Ahmad concluded by stressing that the upcoming phase is a decisive one in the course of the women’s struggle, where efforts will focus on achieving the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which is viewed as the culmination of the women's struggle for freedom and dignity.
