Leader’s physical freedom represents People’s liberation, end of injustice

In the context of the global campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue,” the Zenobia Women’s Association Council in Tabqa organized a demonstration denouncing the  strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

All components of the city, male and female representatives of the Democratic Civil Administration of the Tabqa area, political parties, and women’s and youth movements, participated in the demonstration that began in the first district in the center of Tabqa.

During the demonstration, the demonstrators carried banners that read, “With the unity and solidarity of the peoples, we will defeat the international conspiracy and liberate Leader Ocalan” and “ With the thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, we will break the chains of Imrali,” in addition to raising pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and chanting slogans, “There is no life without the leader".

The demonstrators observed a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, and then a speech was delivered on behalf of the Zenobia Women’s Assembly Council in Tabqa, by the council’s administrator, Nour Al-Hafni.

Al-Hafni said: “Year after year the falsity of the allegations becomes clear.”

Al-Hafni continued: “The lies of the Turkish state are known far and wide, and its lies no longer succeed in concealing its truth, the leader was the first liberator who fought long struggles for his people to gain freedom, and opened the way for other peoples to follow the same path."

Al-Hafni stressed that: “The leader’s philosophy and thought are the reason for the success of the Rojava Revolution, which was launched with the vanguard of revolutionary women, and her belief in the leader’s message that a free life begins with her liberation, so that our revolution turns into a global event that inspired the peoples of the world."

The Council pledged to complete the process of struggle and resistance, regardless of the circumstances and challenges.

The Council called on: “The humanitarian community and all believers in freedom to act in accordance with the moral and political duty in supporting the cause of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and to join the global campaign.
