"Leader's freedom represents fundamental struggle goal for resolving Kurdish issue"

The Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Partî) published a New Year's message from the leader Apo. The message included important points regarding the peace, the democratic society process, and the March 10th Agreement signed between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Transitional Government. It emphasized the importance of women's liberation, stating, "Unless women are liberated, society cannot be liberated."

On Tuesday, the Women's House in Hasaka, Jazira canton, issued a statement to the public opinion in The Leader APO Park in al-Nasra neighborhood, demanding the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, amid the presence of representatives from the Women's House and the Kongra Star in the city.

The statement was read by Nora Omer; the administrator at the Women's House in the city, as she appealed to the international community and all of humanity, stressing that the leader Abdullah Ocalan has been imprisoned for over 26 years in harsh conditions and complete isolation, posing a real threat to the future of peace and stability in the region.

The statement indicated that the physical freedom of the leader is not only a humanitarian issue, but also a political and historical necessity for opening new horizons for conflict resolution and achieving justice.

The statement affirmed that the leader transformed his years of captivity on Imrali Island into an intellectual source that became a guidance for the oppressed and free peoples, through his proposal of the project for peace and a democratic society based on guaranteeing the rights of all communities and respecting diversity.

The Women's House stressed that the leader's physical freedom is a fundamental struggle goal for resolving the Kurdish issue and all other outstanding issues in the Middle East, emphasizing that there can be no lasting peace or genuine solutions without achieving his physical freedom.

The Women's House called upon human rights organizations, international institutions, parliaments, and political parties to take immediate action and escalate the struggle to secure the leader's physical freedom.

The statement concluded with the slogan, "No Life Without the Leader."
