Lawyers of Imrali detainees submit new meeting request
The lawyers of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the other detainees on Imrali Island have submitted a new request to the Turkish authorities to meet with their clients.

Today, lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Suzan Akiba, Ibrahim Bilmez, Imran Amkci, and Cengiz Yoruklu, submitted a new request to the Office of the Public Prosecutor in Bursa, Turkey, and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with their clients: Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Khairi Kunar, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktash, who have been subjected to a system of torture and annihilation by Turkey for more than three years.
The lawyers submit two requests each week to the Office of the Public Prosecutor in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with them, without receiving any response to their requests.
The system of torture and annihilation continues in Imrali, and Leader Abdullah Ocalan is still being denied his rights, even as a detainee.
