Last message of martyr Deniz Çiya whose body mutilated by mercenaries

The member of the Internal Security Forces in Sheikh Maqsoud, whose body was mutilated by the mercenaries, addressed a final message to her comrades and people before her martyrdom, in which she said, "We are besieged by the enemy, who poses a grave danger to the entire world and the inhabitants of the region, especially women, but it is necessary for all our comrades and people to know that we will fight to the last breath no matter what happens, there is nothing more important than protecting the dignity of our people."

On Wednesday, the General Command of the Internal Security Forces in Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh issued a statement, revealing the records of five of its members who carried out self-sacrifice operations against the Turkish-backed mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government on January 10th.

The statement mentioned the martyrs' identification; Deniz Çiya, Hawar Qandil, Rojbin Amara, Dilbrin Qamishlo, and Frashin Afrin. It also identified the female member whose body was mutilated by the mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government; the martyr Deniz Çiya.

A video posted by the Interim Government's mercenaries on their webpages, showing the mutilation and desecration of the body of the Internal Security Forces' member before throwing it from a great height, amid a mass celebration, sparked widespread public and international outrage, accompanied by demands for the perpetrators of this crime to be held accountable.

The statement indicated that before her martyrdom, Deniz Çiya had addressed a message to her comrades and people, affirming, "At this moment, we are surrounded by the enemy, who poses a grave danger to the entire world and the inhabitants of the region, especially the women, with massive tanks. Numerous gangs are attacking us, and while we have developed various methods to counter them, we are now using our ammunition very carefully to avoid running out. It is essential that all our comrades and our people know that we will fight to the last breath, no matter what happens.

We are being called upon to surrender, but just as Zarifa and Besi jumped from the cliffs of Dersim, and just as Rendikhan ended his life on the Malabati Bridge and then rebuilt life, we will never back down from resistance. Right now, we all have a bomb that we have defused. If we learn that our ammunition has run out, the five of us, side by side, will carry out a self-sacrifice operation against the fascist enemy who has committed all sorts of atrocities against our comrades and people. Whatever happens, nothing is more important than protecting the dignity of our people."
