Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria: Turkish occupation leads plot to break Kurdish people's will

In a statement to ANHA's agency, Jwan Seko, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, spoke about the attacks targeting Rojava by mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government since January 6, stating that the Kurds are being subjected to an international conspiracy backed by regional states, primarily the Turkish occupation.

Seko pointed out that the mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government operate according to the agenda of the Turkish occupation, having launched attacks on areas in North and East Syria in an attempt to break the will of the Kurdish people and incite discord between Arabs and Kurds.

He explained that the Syrian Democratic Forces have assumed the responsibility of protecting these regions, and that the broad popular support surrounding them has played a fundamental role in thwarting international schemes and preventing the outbreak of strife.

Seko called on the genuine Arab tribes to remain vigilant against these conspiracies, affirming that the shared history between Arabs and Kurds is sufficient to defeat them all.

He also noted that Kurdish unity across the four parts of Kurdistan has been a source of pride for the people of Rojava, and that the assistance currently provided by Southern Kurdistan reflects the unity of Kurdish destiny in the face of extermination attempts pursued by certain regional states.

Seko urged the Kurdish people in Kurdistan and Europe to continue organizing events and demonstrations in support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People’s and Women’s Protection Units (YPG-YPJ) until victory is achieved and the hopes and aspirations of the Kurdish people are realized.

In conclusion, Jwan Seko emphasized that the role of Kurdish political parties lies in supporting the demands of the people and backing their military forces, affirming that victory will be on the side of a revolutionary people steadfast in their rights and unity.
