Kurdish politician criticizes human rights institutions for procrastinating on demand "right to hope"

The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates canton, Bozan Khalil, criticized the procrastination of human rights institutions in performing their duties, in light of the continued torture and genocide system against Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali, and said that they are "weak institutions that have joined hands with the authorities and remained silent regarding illegal acts."

Khalil added, in a special interview with ANHA's agency: "Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been in prison for 26 years. Where are the human rights institutions in supporting the demand for the right to hope?"

Bozan Khalil pointed out that meetings with Leader Abdullah Ocalan will not lead to a solution without achieving his physical freedom and securing a direct means of communication with the people.

Khalil refuted all the claims of the Justice and Development Party authorities in Turkey, seeking peace and democracy, and added: "What the Turkish state promotes about seeking peace is not true, as what it does on the ground leads to more chaos and violence."

Khalil also stressed that peace and the current crises in the Middle East cannot be achieved without Leader Abdullah Ocalan being free outside the prison walls.

At the end of his speech, Bozan Khalil expressed his gratitude for what Leader Abdullah Ocalan has provided during his struggle, and added: "We have discovered our strength, and we have been freed from slavery, all thanks to the efforts and ideas that Leader Abdullah Ocalan has provided to us, and duty requires us to strive with all our strength and will to achieve his physical freedom."
