Kurdish dignitaries affirm support for SDF

The Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) held a meeting of Kurdish tribal sheikhs and dignitaries to discuss the latest developments in the Syrian arena.

 The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, with the attendance of nearly 200 figures, at the building of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the city of Hasaka.

 At the beginning, the political developments and the situation in the region were explained by the member of the Presidency of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Fawza Youssef, and the member of the Executive Committee of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK), Akram Hasso.

 The meeting shed light on the general, political and military situation at the current stage, especially, the movements of the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces in recent days, and the danger facing the region and its people.

 The meeting praised the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces in confronting the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation on the Tishrin Dam axis and the Qarqozak Bridge.

Fawza Youssef confirmed that they are open to Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue without any conditions, calling on the other Kurdish parties to unite in order to protect this land and the gains of its martyrs.

 In the participation of the dignitaries, everyone pointed out the importance of combining efforts and national unity through a dialogue that includes all Kurdish political parties to ensure the interests of the Kurds and their gains.

 The Kurdish dignitaries, political figures, and community members also stressed the need to confront the conspiracies that target NE Syria.
