Today, the brother of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Mehmet Ocalan, through his attorney Mazlum Dinç, the sister of the detainee Ömer Hayri Konar, Emine Konar, the brother of Hamili Yildirim, Polat Yildirim, and the sister of Veysi Aktaş, Meliha Aktaş, submitted a new request to the Bursa Republican Public Prosecutor's Office and Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with them.

The lawyers of the Asr Law Office submit two requests every week to the Bursa Public Prosecutor's Office and Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with them. Their relatives also submit two requests every week, a total of 16 requests every month, without receiving any response.

While the torture and genocide regime continues in Imrali, Leader Abdullah Ocalan is being denied his rights as a detainee, through the renewal of what the authorities in Turkey call “disciplinary penalties.”
