Kobani residents demand a meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan

In accordance with historic "Peace and Democratic Society" call issued on February 27 by Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the third round of the "Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, Political Solution to the Kurdish Problem" campaign was launched under the caption of "I Want to Meet Abdullah Ocalan."

In this respect, Kobani people assured their solidarity for this campaign and expressed their expectation of meeting Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Citizen Najma Kanjo said, "I too would like to meet Leader Abdullah Ocalan. My wish is that the Leader would be physically freed and that he would be among us. We, women, freed the Leader from slavery and oppression, and we, too, will not stop our struggle until the Leader becomes physically freed."

Citizen Adel Sheikh Mohammed emphasized their continuous struggle for the physical release of the leader, saying, "Leader Abdullah Ocalan is a peaceful and democratic leader who can solve the current problem. The leader must be released so that peace can be the ultimate ruler in the world. We, as Kurds, also wish to host and meet the leader."

Citizen Khanaf Bozan gave feedback regarding the global campaign for the freedom of the leader, resolution of the Kurdish issue, and meeting him, commenting, "I also want to meet the leader. We have reached this stage due to the leader and our martyrs' legacy. This movement of peace began with a call from the leader. For resolving the problems of the Middle East, the leader must be physically liberated."

Citizen Osman Ali also said he hopes to meet his leader, adding, "The leader lit a light of life for us. He freed us from oppression and persecution, and thwarted the designs of the dominant forces to control Kurdish society."

Citizen Najma Ali stressed the importance of obtaining the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, stating, "We want the Leader to be among us in person. He is able to solve this issue because he is the founder of the democratic state. The Leader freed women from slavery and led women to the path of leadership. We, Kobani women, will struggle for the physical freedom of the Leader until death."
