Kidnap of 17 women, including minors in different places and circumstances in Syria
17 women, including minors, were kidnapped by unknown gunmen, in different places and circumstances in Syria.

Several cities in Syria, including Latakia, Homs, Al-Suwayda, Tartous and Hama, are witnessing a disturbing wave of enforced disappearance and kidnapping at the hands of militants, where at least 17 women, among them minors, have disappeared in mysterious circumstances, and their fate is still unknown, according to the reports of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
In the context, unknown gunmen on April 4 kidnapped a family of five, including a child, after storming their house between the Al-Sabeel neighborhood and the Bayadiya neighborhood in the city of Homs, and her fate is still unknown.
This increases the frequency of kidnapping, attacks, and the spread of sudden interruptions of communication, amid security in the areas of the Damascus Authority and fears among the population of continued impunity.
