In a message loaded with hope, the Yazidi women in Tirbespiyê called for the "first Wednesday of April" Eid to spread peace in the world.

On the occasion of the arrival of the Yazidi New Year, "the first Wednesday of April", the Yezidi women in the city of Tirbespiyê, affiliated to the Jazira Canton, expressed their demands and hopes from the Eid, and indicated that this holiday should be a symbol of peace, and the return of the people of Afrin, Serê Kaniyê, and Tal Abyad to their homes.
Maryam Jindo, one of the members of the Yazidi House from the occupied city of Afrin, said that the Yazidi society has been exposed throughout history to many massacres, and despite all these births, the Yazidi culture is still preserved.
Maryam explained that the meaning of the first Wednesday of April is linked to the beginning of the creation of the universe, and she hoped that they could celebrate it this year in Afrin.
Maryam added: "In the end, we congratulate this holiday to the leader Abdullah Ocalan and all the Yazidi society."
