The security forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Hewlêr expelled a number of representatives of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) from the city and took them to the borders of Sulaymaniyah Governorate, according to Roj News Agency.
Hikmet Hatip, Aydın Yalvaç, Sıtkı Vakar and Nasır Yağız, spokespersons and members of HDP's Kurdistan Region Representative Office in Hewlêr were forcibly taken out of the city by the security forces of the KDP.
The party members were transported in two separate vehicles under heavy guard.
The politicians taken out of Hewlêr are expected to make a press statement in Sulaymaniyah in the coming hours.
