Joint security checkpoints deployed at Hasakah entrances

The Internal Security Forces, in coordination with the Internal Security Forces of the Interim Government, have begun deploying joint checkpoints and security barriers at the main entrances leading to Al-Hasakah Governorate.

Today, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), in coordination with the Internal Security Forces of the Interim Government, started setting up joint checkpoints and security barriers at the main entrances to Al-Hasakah Governorate.

According to the Internal Security Forces’ media center, this step comes as part of efforts aimed at facilitating citizens’ movement and securing vital corridors. Field units have begun positioning their checkpoints on strategic roads linking Al-Hasakah with the governorates of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, in addition to the Al-Hasakah–Tal Brak road.

This field coordination aims to reopen main roads for traffic and commercial movement, ease the burden on travelers, and ensure smooth mobility between governorates. The security authorities also stressed that these measures observe the highest levels of vigilance to guarantee citizens’ safety and regional stability.
