Jazera people renew their rejection of Turkish attacks and its decisions regarding leader

Jazera Canton in the NE Syria witnessed popular rejection of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the defense areas, as well as rejection of the decision of the Turkish authorities, amidst emphasizing their firm position on their demands for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, through 2 mass marches in the cities of Qamishlo and Darbasiyah.

Hundreds of people from the 7 cities participated in the 2 marches, along with representatives of political parties, civil society organizations, and youth organizations, raising pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, the Young Women’s Union, and banners reading against “treason and occupation,” “Support the battle for freedom.” "There is no life without a leader."

The Qamishlo march, which was organized by the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, started from the Martyr Robar roundabout, passing through the Sony roundabout, before turning into a protest in front of the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan, during which the director of the Young Women’s Union in Jazera Canton, Media Abd al-Rahman, shed light on the plans of Turkish occupation state against the Kurdistanis, with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

It condemned the participation of the Democratic Party of the Turkish occupation in the attacks on the defense areas.

It also condemned the Turkish authorities' recent decision against leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the cooperation of international powers with them in targeting him and depriving him of his physical freedom, and noted that it is a policy of genocide practiced against the Kurdistanis.

While the co-chair of the Progressive Syriac Youth Union, Sobhi Malik, referred to the sacrifices made by the People Defense Forces in order to achieve freedom, justice and democracy for societies.

He expressed the Progressive Syriac Youth Union's absolute support for the HPG and for leader Abdullah Ocalan until achiving his physical freedom and thwarts all Turkish plans.

As for the Darbasiyah march, Razia Muhammad, member of the Popular Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in the city of Darbasiyah, expressed the city’s people’s rejection of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the Mediya Defense areas, as well as the decision of the Turkish authorities against Leader Ocalan.
