Jal Agha residents: leader’s freedom is guarantee for security, stability in Middle East

Amid the sensitive phase that the Middle East is going through, a number of residents of Jal Agha affirmed that the continuation of the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan coincides with serious developments, stressing that his democratic project represents the only path to achieving security, stability, and ending conflicts.

In this context, Mohammad Sharqi said: “The dominant powers that create and deepen conflicts among the peoples of the region are merely seeking to prolong wars, killing, and destruction in order to achieve their goals of redrawing maps. What is happening today is part of steps toward building a new Middle East in line with their interests.”

He pointed out that the continuation of the isolation imposed on Abdullah Ocalan under these circumstances, along with the targeting of his democratic project in Rojava and attempts to convince people that it is a failed project, are all part of the plans of dominant states to eliminate any democratic initiative that calls for freedom, justice, and equality.

He stressed that the physical freedom of Abdullah Ocalan is a necessity at this stage, as he is the only one capable of saving peoples from these plans and bloody conflicts. His proposal of democratic integration is part of his broader vision aimed at achieving peaceful and just coexistence among peoples who share historical ties to this land.

For her part, Fatima Rostem said: “Our existence is tied to the existence of Abdullah Ocalan. The continuation of his isolation under current conditions is effectively an isolation of the peoples of the region, especially the Kurdish people, preventing his role in guiding them toward a path of salvation.”

She noted that the ongoing violent events of killing and destruction demonstrate that the leader’s project, based on the concept of a democratic nation and the building of a democratic society, is the only path to salvation. Otherwise, it would not have been subjected to attacks and distortion in Rojava.

She added: “We are aware of the plans being devised against us and against the leader’s project. Therefore, we will continue following his approach and ideology, which focus on protecting peoples and promoting democracy and justice. We demand his physical freedom because people today are in urgent need of his presence.”

Jalila Ahmad, in turn, said: “The continuation of the isolation imposed on Abdullah Ocalan is intended to prevent peoples from attaining their freedom. His freedom is extremely important at this stage, as peoples need his role and his democratic project, which is capable of protecting them from killing, destruction, and wars that threaten their existence.”

She stressed that it is impossible to achieve peace and democracy in the Middle East without Abdullah Ocalan, noting that no peace can be accepted if it does not guarantee his physical freedom.

Jalila Ahmad concluded her remarks by affirming the continuation of the struggle in accordance with Abdullah Ocalan’s thought, describing it as the path to achieving freedom and victory.
