The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that components in Syria are being “silently eradicated,” announcing that Kurds in the country are facing displacement and repression based on their identity.

Today, the Israeli Foreign Ministry published a message on its official account on the X platform, stating: “While the world is preoccupied with various headlines, minorities in Syria are being erased and silently exterminated.”

The ministry highlighted in particular the situation of the Kurds in Syria, saying: “Kurds in Syria are facing displacement, repression, and systematic violence because of their identity, and are being persecuted for it.”

The Israeli Foreign Ministry criticized the world’s silence, stressing that “human rights are universal and must not be treated selectively.” It also warned that “silence in the face of these violations, killings, and enforced disappearances does not mean neutrality.”
