The Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside, including the villages of Abdin, Maariya, and Jamla, witnessed Israeli incursions yesterday, Sunday, supported by military vehicles and tanks.

The village of Abdin and its surrounding areas were also subjected to artillery shelling and helicopter gunfire, while warplanes and drones flew intensively over the skies of Daraa and Quneitra countryside.

Local sources told ANHA agency that Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Abdin before withdrawing, while forces fired illumination flares and opened fire toward the area.

The Syrian Civil Defense indicated that the Israeli shelling did not result in any injuries or material damage to homes, but it caused panic and fear among residents, leading to limited displacement to nearby villages and towns around Abdin.

The Israeli operations in the area were accompanied by house raids, the establishment of temporary military checkpoints, and questioning of passersby, with no reports of arrests at the time this report was prepared.
