The Russia Today network reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car in the town of Kafra in southern Lebanon, resulting in casualties, amid intense flight of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft at low altitude in the airspace of southern Lebanon.

The network added that the Israeli drone targeted a civilian car on a public road in the town of Kafra, killing two people and wounding five others.

Israeli warplanes raided the town of Markaba on the border in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army also targeted, with artillery shelling, the outskirts of the towns of Aitaroun, Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun in southern Lebanon.

For its part, Hezbollah announced that it "targeted the Pranit barracks with missile weapons this afternoon and it was hit directly."

It is noteworthy that yesterday, Saturday, an Israeli drone targeted a car on a public road in the town of Bazouriyeh, Burj al-Shamali, deep in southern Lebanon.
