Hasakah Governor orders activation of supply offices; facilitates “Better Bread” initiative

Hasakah Governor Engineer Nour al-Din Ahmad inspected the “Better Bread” initiative implemented by the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, whose objective is to enhance the quality of bread and the bread production system. He also ordered the activation of supply offices as soon as possible to enhance market supervision and ensure consumer protection.

Hasakah Governor Engineer Nour al-Din Ahmad held a meeting with the Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Shawqi Mohammad, who briefed him about the key elements of the “Better Bread” initiative, which includes rehabilitation of infrastructure and improving operational efficiency, which contributes to production process development and higher quality of bread.

The governor expressed his support for the program and stressed the need to continue efforts to improve bread quality and enhance the level of services provided to citizens.

He also directed that the supply offices be activated as soon as possible in order to strengthen market regulation and increase oversight of the movement of goods and commodities, contributing to the protection of consumer rights and improving the supply situation in the governorate.
