Israeli airstrikes hit sites in Latakia, Tartus countryside
Israel launched airstrikes targeting three sites in the countryside of Latakia and Tartus in Syria, including the areas around Beit Yashout, Burj Islam, and the Port of Tartus. The strikes also hit the 107th Brigade in Jableh and old military barracks. The Israeli army stated that the targeted sites contained surface-to-sea missiles that posed a threat to maritime navigation.

Local sources reported that the Israeli strikes in Latakia hit the areas surrounding the villages of Beit Yashout and Burj Islam.
In Tartus, the bombing targeted the vicinity of the Port of Tartus.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Israeli warplanes struck the 107th Brigade in Zama, in the countryside of Jableh.
They also hit the Blata Barracks in Tartus countryside—a former headquarters of the Special Forces that now contains large groups of factions and a gathering point for abandoned regime vehicles—and the Shamiyah Barracks on the Palace Road in the Latakia countryside. Columns of smoke were seen rising, but there have been no confirmed reports of casualties or the extent of material damage so far.
Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated:
"Israeli aircraft recently struck weapon depots in Latakia that contained surface-to-sea missiles, which posed a threat to both international and Israeli maritime navigation."
