ISF issues measures to regulate gatherings, ensure safety

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) in Hasaka governorate issued a statement to the public opinion on Monday, which included:

"Given the current circumstances in our region, and based on the national responsibility entrusted to the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) to maintain stability and protect lives and property, the General Command wishes to clarify the following:

It has recently been observed that some citizens are organizing gatherings, celebrations, and public events in streets and residential neighborhoods without prior coordination with the relevant authorities. This may endanger the safety of participants or disrupt public order.

Therefore, we emphasize the necessity of adhering to the following instructions:

All citizens must visit the nearest Asayish center well in advance of organizing any gathering or celebration.

Obtaining the necessary official approvals to ensure the legitimacy and legality of the event.

Upon the issuance of the permit, the Asayish forces are committed to securing the event venue, protecting participants, and preventing any security breaches or chaos that could lead to negative consequences.

We in the Internal Security Forces affirm our commitment to sharing in the joys and celebrations of our people, we emphasize that the security of citizens is our top priority, and that cooperation with security forces is the cornerstone of ensuring everyone's safety.
