The Meteorology Directorate announced that the Jazira region, particularly Hasaka and parts of northern Deir ez-Zor, is experiencing heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and scattered hail.

It also noted that Raqqa is experiencing heavy rain with thunderstorms and scattered hail, while the coastal, northwestern, and northern regions, as well as parts of the central region, are witnessing scattered showers that may be thundery, especially in the coastal highlands.

The Directorate added that the capital, Damascus, and the southern and eastern regions are experiencing scattered and intermittent showers, with a possibility of snowfall in the high mountain areas, while the chance of precipitation in Damascus remains generally low.
