Iran: Talks with United States will remain "indirect" with Omani mediation
Iran announced on Sunday that the upcoming talks with the United States, scheduled for the end of next week, will remain "indirect" with Omani mediation.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei explained in an interview with Iranian state television that the negotiations will remain indirect, with the possibility of discussing the venue. He indicated that they will be limited to the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions.
It is worth noting that these talks are the highest-level since US President Donald Trump withdrew in 2018 from the 2015 international agreement on Iran's nuclear program, which aimed to lift sanctions on Tehran.
