“International powers must respect Region’s components demands”

Since March 25, 2021, communication with Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been cut off, as a result of the Turkish occupation state imposing so-called “disciplinary sanctions” against him.

Citizen Reber Omar, resident of the city of Tirbespiye in Jazera Canton, stressed that the strict isolation on Leader Ocalan is a targeting of region’s people will who believed in his idea and struggle to achieve their physical freedom. He said: “We know that the Turkish occupation is trying to prevent the arrival of the ideas and philosophy of Leader Abdullah to the people of the region.”

Reber Omar explained: “Unfortunately, international powers are complicit with the Turkish occupation, and participating in the conspiracy that targeted the leader 25 years ago, and is still continuing today. We are continuing our struggle and working on the ideas of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.”

Citizen Alaa Muhammad Saeed Ibrahim noted: “Every detainee has the right to meet his family and his lawyer,” and pointed out that Leader Abdullah Ocalan contributed greatly to the liberation of society, especially women, and this is what drives the Turkish occupation to try to break the will of the people through the person of Leader Ocalan.

Ghaleb Dawoud saw that the international silence regarding the isolation and the so-called (disciplinary sanctions) is a continuation of the conspiracy against the components of NE Syria, and he said: “Especially that the leader, through his ideas recorded in his books, worked to achieve freedom, justice and equality for the people of the region, and he has the right to exercise all his political and civil rights, even if he is imprisoned.”

Ghaleb Dawoud called on the people of the region to escalate the struggle, break the strict isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and achieve his physical freedom. He also called on international powers to respect the demands of the components of the region.
