"Humanitarian and Security" operation combed more than 80% of female jihadists section

On January 27, the Internal Security Forces, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units, announced in a press statement the launch of the third phase of the “Humanitarian and Security” operation within al-Hol Camp, the most dangerous and extremist camp in the world.

Inspections and combing operations continued for the second day inside the "Female jihadists Section", which houses women and children of ISIS mercenaries of 50 different nationalities.

During the ongoing combing and inspection operations within the department, the Internal Security Forces found military bags and equipment, and tools for digging trenches and shelters that ISIS mercenary cells use to hide from sight.

The Internal Security Forces also found a tunnel in which two mercenaries from ISIS cells were hiding. They were arrested by the Internal Security Forces, in addition to finding bladed weapons.

This evening, the Internal Security Forces found a mine in the courtyard of one of the tents in the female jihadists section.

In conjunction with the combing and inspection operations, al-Hol Camp administration was recording personal data related to women from the families of ISIS mercenaries.

The total number of mines found by the Internal Security Forces amounted to 4 mines, in addition to two hiding trenches, and 21 wanted collaborators with ISIS cells were arrested, according to the Media Center of the Internal Security Forces in the North and East Syria.

The Internal Security Forces have so far combed 80% of the “Female Jihadists Section,” amid the continuation of the “Humanitarian and Security” operation, until its desired goals are achieved.
