HPG: New operations against Turkish occupation army in Defense areas

HPG's Media Center issued a written statement about the Guerrilla operations and the Turkish occupation attacks on the Defense areas.

The statement read:

“On November 7 and 8, the Defense areas were bombed by Turkish warplanes 18 times by the Turkish occupation.

 The Turkish army is trying to obtain the desired results by all means by launching air strikes, ground bombardment, and using banned explosives and chemical gases, but it has failed to achieve any results on the ground.

Detailed information about Guerrilla operations and attacks of the Turkish occupation army is as follows:

In Martyr Dalil area west of Zap;

On October 7, at 06:50, 09:40, and 12:00, the occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy and medium-caliber weapons in Judi Hill, and a strike was directed at one of the occupation sites.

On November 7, at 15:15, a bomb-laden drone was destroyed through a qualitative operation carried out by our forces in the resistance square of Judi Hill.

On November 7, at 07:30, an artillery site of the occupation soldiers was targeted with semi-automatic weapons in Amadiya Hill, and a strike was directed at this site.

On November 7, at 10:30, a surveillance camera belonging to the occupation soldiers was destroyed by snipers in Amadiya Hill. The operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star.

In Matina area;

On November 7, at 10:30, the occupation soldiers were targeted with semi-automatic weapons in Orti Hill.

On November 8, at 08:50, occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy weapons  in Jarjel Hill.

Attacks by the Turkish occupation army with banned explosives, chemical gases, and booby-trapped drones;

On November 6 and 7, the war trenches were bombed with banned explosives 4 times in the Sida resistance square in the Zap region.

On November 6 and 7, the war trenches in the resistance square in Jarjel Hill, located in the Matina area were bombed 5 times with booby-trapped drones.

On November 6 and 7, the war trenches in Orti Hill were bombed 48 times with banned explosives and chemical gases.

On November 7, the war trenches in Judi Hill, located in the Martyr Dalil area were bombed 5 times with booby-trapped drones.

Turkish occupation army attacks;

On November 7 and 8, warplanes bombed Martyr Ibrahim, located in the Zap region, and 12 times on the village of Blindbaziye, the village of Kiriye, the squares of the martyr Aslan, the Zankel hill, Derrieh Harjiye, Kani Saraka, and the village of Kozeh, located in the Gari region.

 The warplanes also bombed 6 Several times, the areas of Roj Hill, the village of Bey Bala, and the village of Bulleh, located in the Qandil region, where the total number of air strikes by warplanes reached 18 raids.

On November 7, the areas of Zap, Martyr Dalil, Kharkor and Barzan were also bombed by helicopters.

Meanwhile, the areas of Zap, Shahid Dalil, Matina and Kharkor were bombarded with artillery shells.”
