HPG kills 8 Turkish occupation soldiers

 Media Center of HPG issued a statement on the anniversary of the founding of the Women's Army and the martyrdom of leader Beritan, in which it revealed a number of specific operations carried out by the forces against the Turkish occupation army in the Media Defense areas in southern Kurdistan, which read:

  “Our forces carried out many operations to commemorate the leader, Comrade Beritan Gulnaz Karatas, and to welcome the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Free Women’s Units-Star (YJA-Star). In these operations, which took place under the leadership of the Free Women’s Units-Star, 8 occupation soldiers were killed and one soldier was wounded, one of the surveillance camera systems (Mobesse) and one of the Turkish occupation army sites were destroyed.

* On October 22, at 12:00 noon, the occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy weapons in the square of the Martyr Barkhadan Hill, located in Khantur, resulting in the killing of 4 occupation soldiers and the destruction of a site and a surveillance camera system (mobesse). The operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women's Units - Star.

* On October 23, at 17:00, the occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy weapons in the Resistance Square of Side.

* On October 22, at 15:00, one of the Turkish occupation’s surveillance camera systems (mobesse) was hit in the Resistance Square of Judi Hill. The operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star.

* On October 23, at 01:30 after midnight, helicopter movements were intercepted twice with heavy weapons in the resistance square of Judi Hill.

* On October 23, at 10:20, our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star launched a sniper attack on the occupation soldiers in the Resistance Square of Judi Hill, killing one of the occupation soldiers.

* On October 23, at 14:30, our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star intercepted the movements of the occupation soldiers with heavy weapons in the resistance square of Judi Hill, where the movements of the occupation soldiers were stopped.

* On October 23, at 15:30, occupation soldiers were sniper-targeted in the Resistance Square of Judi Hill, resulting in the death of one of the occupation soldiers.

* On October 23, at 16:00, our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star destroyed one of the surveillance camera systems (mobesse) using a sniper tactic in the resistance square of Judi Hill.

* On October 23, at 16:30 and 17:00, the occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy and medium-caliber weapons in the Resistance Square of Judi Hill, where the movements of the occupation soldiers were stopped.

  * On October 23, at 17:30, one of the occupation soldiers was killed by sniper fire in the resistance square of Judi Hill.

* On October 22 at 16:30, and on October 23 at 07:00, our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star targeted the occupation soldiers with medium automatic weapons in Amadiyah Hill, directing strikes at 4 sites.

* On October 23, at 220:00, occupation soldiers were sniper-targeted in Amadiyah Hill, resulting in the injury of one of the occupation soldiers.

* On October 23, at 22:40, occupation soldiers were targeted with medium automatic weapons, resulting in the death of one of the occupation soldiers.

Turkish occupation army attacks with banned explosives, chemical gases, and booby-trapped drines:

* On October 22, the combat trenches were bombed with banned explosives once in Sida, located in the Zap region.

* On October 22 and 23, the fighting trenches in Jarjla Hill in the Matina area were bombed twice with booby-trapped drones, while the fighting trenches in Ourta Hill were bombed 25 times with banned explosives. The banned explosives used were black in color and smelled like detergents.

* On October 23, the fighting trenches were bombed 3 times with banned explosives in Amadiyah Hill in the western Zap area of Martyr Dalil, while the fighting trenches in Judi Hill were bombed 4 times with bomb-laden drones.

* On October 18, Sotouna Square, located in the Avashin area was bombed by warplanes 9 times.

* On October 22 and 23, the areas of Zap, Avashin, and western Zap of the martyr Dalil, Matina, Khakurk, and Barzan were bombed by helicopters.

* The areas of Zap, Matina, Khakurk and Barzan were also subjected to artillery shelling.”
