Vadim Collet, deputy head of the so-called Russian Center for Reconciliation in Hmeimim, Syria, said in a statement: “Two F-16 tactical fighters belonging to the Israeli Air Force launched attacks on February 12, from 11:37 to 11:49, from Lebanese territory, without entering Syrian airspace, a two-cruise missile strike hit Nayrab International Airport in Aleppo Governorate, wounding 3 civilian employees at the airport.”

And added that as a result of dropping an explosive device from a drone launched by mercenary groups from Idlib, 3 soldiers of the Damascus government forces were injured in the Al-Rwaiha area.

Israel launches air strikes targeting sites in Syrian territory that it says have become sheltering Iranian forces or groups and factions loyal to it.

The level of Israeli attacks has increased since the outbreak of the war with Hamas in Gaza, and as a result the intensity of escalation between Tel Aviv and the forces loyal to Iran has increased.
