Hilal Zerin Movement is preparing to release video titled "Sheikh Maqsoud ... Citadel of Steadfastness"

The technical committees of the Hilal Zirin Movement for Women's Culture have been working for days on recording and filming a new video clip in Arabic, titled "Sheikh Maqsoud... The Citadel of Steadfastness," performed by the Martyr Fajin Group, with support from the Jamil Horo Center, affiliated with the Culture and Arts Movement in Aleppo.

The song is written and composed by the Artist Suzan Bilal, and was recorded at Hikmat Milan Studio, with the participation of approximately 70 women from Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods.

ANHA agency's camera accompanied the preparations leading up to the song's release, which includes praise for the resistance of the two neighborhoods' residents in the face of recent attacks by the Transitional Government in Syria, in addition to embodying the cohesion of the two neighborhoods' components in confronting attacks, roadblocks, and the imposition of a siege.

Hedayat Othman, the member of Hilal Zirin Movement and one of the participants in the video clip, explained to ANHA agency that the primary goal of releasing the song is to send messages of resistance from the two neighborhoods to all of Syria, as well as to document this epic in the pages of history in an artistic manner.

Hedayat pointed out that the resistance of the two neighborhoods' residents deserves hundreds of poems to express even a small part of it, saying, "The message of the two neighborhoods' residents that must be conveyed is that we are a peaceful people who live and co-exist in peace with everyone, but if war is imposed on us, we will resist."

Concluding her remarks, Hedayat expressed her hope that goodness and peace would prevail among all the Syrian people.

According to the technical committee supervising the video clip, it is scheduled to be released within the next few days.
