- Journalist Salahaddin Soro said that despite the international conspiracy against him, Leader Abdullah Ocalan reiterated his call for a ceasefire before the world on September 13, 1998, in a message broadcast on TV MED. Soro said: “In that message, Leader Apo said that if the state recognized the rights and identity of the Kurdish people, he was ready to dissolve the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).”

- Around 1,500 property owners in the town of Ain al-Fijeh in the Damascus countryside are calling for the repeal of Law No. 1 of 2018 concerning the protection zone around the Fijeh Spring, as well as for their property status to be addressed and compensation to be paid. The issue remains disputed amid continued uncertainty over the fate of properties covered by the law and its implications for residents’ return and the town’s reconstruction.

- Farmers in Tirbespiyê have called on the transitional government to speed up the payment of outstanding dues for their wheat crops, saying they have been waiting for months amid mounting economic pressures and rising fuel prices. - Co-Chair of the Democratic Islam Congress Mullah Mohammed Rashid al-Gharzani said hate speech and incitement threaten civil peace, describing those who promote such rhetoric as people who trade in Syrians’ blood. He called on religious scholars, tribal leaders and community figures to promote love and brotherhood in Syria, stressing the need to guarantee the cultural and linguistic rights of all communities.
