Politicians and academics in the city of al-Darbasiyah warned against the continued disregard by the Turkish occupying state for the call for peace and a democratic society issued by leader Abdullah Ocalan. They emphasized that failure to respond to this initiative will lead to escalating crises within Turkey and across the broader Middle East, especially at a time when the region is undergoing rapid changes and deep geopolitical transformations.
