Sports in North and East Syria were not immune to the political transformations the country has experienced. Under Ba'ath Party rule, the sports sector was subjected to centralized policies and security oversight, while Kurdish athletes and clubs faced marginalization and discrimination, limiting the development of sports in the region. With the launch of the July 19 Revolution and the establishment of the Autonomous Administration, a new reality for sports began.

A number of residents of Tirbespiyê expressed their opposition to changing the names of cities and towns, stressing that preserving their original names is part of protecting the region's identity and the achievements secured through the sacrifices of the martyrs. They also called for respecting the distinctiveness and rights of all components in the new Syria. (Photos and video attached.)

An all-female theater troupe is producing performances that address social and humanitarian issues reflecting the reality of women in Rojava. The Syrian economy is going through a fragile phase marked by high inflation, declining purchasing power, and weak production. Meanwhile, the interim government says it will continue implementing reforms and attracting investment, although critics and economic experts argue that these measures have yet to improve citizens' living conditions.

Ramziya Mohammed stated that the July 19 Revolution is also the revolution of "Woman, Life, Freedom," as it has helped reveal the true identity of women as freedom-seeking and resilient fighters.
