Fourteen years after its launch, the 19 July Revolution continues to stand as an experience that has gone beyond military confrontation, presenting a project based on building society rather than competing for power, organization instead of chaos, and partnership among communities instead of exclusion. Amid the challenges of the past and the demands of the current stage, the revolution continues to test its ability to consolidate a political model that guarantees partnership and the rights of all components of Syria.

Residents of the city of Garkê Legê affirmed that preserving the Kurdish names of cities and villages means preserving the history and identity of the region, stressing their rejection of any repetition of the Arabization policies practiced during decades of Baath Party rule. The Jandar Thermal Power Plant in the countryside of Homs is witnessing growing tension and discontent following a wave of dismissal decisions affecting a number of employees and workers. Those affected speak of administrative violations, deprivation of financial rights, as well as allegations of favoritism and discrimination in employment.

The Sanitation Department of the People's Municipality in Qamishlo confirmed that the site located in the Judi neighborhood is not a permanent landfill, but rather a temporary waste transfer station before transportation to the main landfill sites. It explained that difficulties in transporting waste to its designated locations have led to its accumulation at the site.
