- Kurdish representation in the Syrian parliament has witnessed major transformations since the establishment of the Syrian state, shifting from the presence of prominent Kurdish figures in the early years of the republic to limited representation under one-party dominance, and eventually to growing debate during the current phase over political partnership and constitutional recognition.

- An academic specializing in Kurdish and Middle Eastern affairs criticized the Turkish authorities’ handling of the Kurdish issue, arguing that Ankara uses the peace process and dialogue with the Kurds primarily within its political and electoral calculations, rather than as a genuine effort to address the root causes of the issue, amid growing doubts over the prospects for a sustainable political settlement.

- Farmers and agricultural workers in the Çil axa region expressed frustration over the continuous rise and instability in the prices of harvest supplies, particularly burlap sacks and hemp twine rolls, stressing that these increases are adding to their financial burdens with the beginning of the harvest season. - A displaced resident of Serekaniye, who returned during Eid al-Adha to inspect his property, said that his house had been turned into a livestock barn, while another resident was reportedly asked to purchase his own home back.
