Hasakah residents call for Kurdish unity to preserve gains of Rojava Revolution

In light of the current situation in Syria in general, and the region of North and East Syria in particular, and the ongoing threats from the Turkish occupying state against the region, the people of the city of al-Hasakah in Jazira canton have called on all Kurdish parties and factions to unite and to distance themselves from partisan and personal interests, with the aim of preserving the gains of the Rojava Revolution that were achieved with the blood of the martyrs. 

 In this context, citizen Habib Hussein said: "We want peace and security for Rojava and all the components within it." We have suffered a lot to reach this day, and the peace and security we live in today have been achieved thanks to our martyrs.

 He explained that Kurdish unity among all parties is an urgent necessity in these difficult times to diversify options for the Kurdish people.

 Hussein explained that "the party that opposes Kurdish unity and creates divisions for personal and partisan goals will regret opposing the Kurds and their martyrs."

 He concluded his speech by calling for Kurdish unity and avoiding individual or partisan interests, to achieve the legitimate rights of the Kurds and not to return to the old disputes that negatively affected the Kurdish people's journey.

 For her part, citizen Silva Hussein from the Salhiya neighborhood said, "It is required for all Kurdish parties and factions to unite in order to preserve the gains of the Rojava Revolution that were achieved with the blood of thousands of martyrs."

 She pointed out that "Kurdish unity is very important, and if the unity negotiations fail, the fate of the Kurds will be difficult."

 Silva Hussein also called on all Kurdish parties to support the Syrian Democratic Forces, which have achieved security and peace for all components and nationalities in Rojava for years.

 As for citizen Najah Hawas, she expressed her great hope in achieving Kurdish unity, saying: "The fate of the Kurds today depends on their unity and agreement among themselves."

 In conclusion to their statements, the residents emphasized that Kurdish unity at this sensitive stage is the only way to preserve the gains of the revolution and ensure the rights of the Kurdish people in the future, stressing that partisan and personal differences should be set aside in the interest of the entire Kurdish people.
