The discussion revolves around the future of Syria and its recent trajectory following the fall of the previous Syrian regime. Accordingly, ANHA's agency conducted an interview with the lawyer and activist from As-Suwayda, Adel al-Hadi.

Al-Hadi touched on the recent Syrian events in his speech, saying: "Undoubtedly, liberation from the Ba'athist Assad regime has been an important step towards achieving the aspirations of the Syrians for freedom and dignity." And we consider that the most important task now is to build a Syrian state with a democratic system based on the concept of citizenship.

Al-Hadi noted that "the decisions of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, led by Abu Muhammad al-Julani, contradict the aspirations of Syrians for freedom, and imposing the ideological and religious system of the group on Syrians represents the establishment of a new authoritarian regime that contradicts the dreams of Syrians and puts their sacrifices at risk."

Lawyer and activist Adel al-Hadi believes that the shape of the Syrian transitional phase should be implemented immediately by applying the provisions of UN Resolution 2,254 according to the decisions of the Aqaba meeting, and starting the drafting of the constitution under the supervision of the United Nations and in accordance with the provisions of Resolution 2,254.

Clarifying that the transition to a broad decentralized system is the appropriate formula for preserving the rights of all Syrians and building a Syrian state with a secular democratic system that references the international human rights charter.
