Guerrilla forces strike fear in Turkish occupation soldiers

An aerial operation carried out by the People’s Defense Forces (Guerrilla) instilled fear among Turkish occupation soldiers in the Medya defense areas in S. Kurdistan. The operation also once again highlights the involvement of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) forces in the ongoing attacks.

The People’s Defense Forces conducted an aerial operation against the Turkish occupation army in Zap, within the Medya defense areas in S. Kurdistan, on October 30. The operation resulted in the death of three occupation soldiers and the injury of two others, according to a statement released by the HPG Media Center the day after the operation.

Footage of the operation, published by the Media Center today, shows a site hosting Turkish occupation soldiers in Zap, the targeting of the site by Guerrilla forces, and the casualties among the soldiers. The footage also reveals the state of fear that engulfed the remaining soldiers.

The scenes further show vehicles belonging to the Kurdistan Democratic Party rushing to assist the Turkish soldiers, evacuating the dead and injured.

Additionally, a Turkish occupation helicopter is seen landing at a location marked with a Kurdistan Democratic Party flag to transport the casualties.

Previously, the HPG Media Center issued a statement on October 31 about the operation:

"On October 29, our forces took control of a Turkish occupation unit in the Serkel resistance area. On October 30, at 3:20 PM, the Martyr Akhin Mush unit targeted a Turkish occupation unit from the air, resulting in the deaths of three Turkish soldiers and injuries to two others."
