Group reading session of the leader Abdullah Ocalan's defense statements in Tabqa

On the occasion of the birthday of leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Zenobia Women's Assembly Council launched a group reading session of the fifth volume of his defenses, titled "The Kurdish Issue and the Solution of the Democratic Nation," which highlights the political and social conditions that the Middle East region has witnessed up to this day.

The session came from the belief of the women of Zenobia in the role played by leader Abdullah Ocalan in defending oppressed peoples, especially women.

The administrator of the Zenobia Women's Assembly in al-Tabqa canton, Nour al-Hafni, explained that the group reading session began on the fourth of April, coinciding with the birthday of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

She pointed out that "the first reading sessions were organized in the Ja'bar Castle due to its deep historical and cultural significance."

The reading of the volume extends over ten days, at a rate of four hours daily, where all members of the Zenobia Women's Assembly Council participate in in-depth dialogue and discussion sessions about the book's content and its importance in analyzing the current reality of the region.

These sessions aim to build an intellectual awareness based on the values of freedom and equality, and to revive a resistant thought that elevates the status of women and their role in positive change and shaping the future.
