Forum discusses integration, women's role, community participation 

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the Euphrates canton organized a forum on democratic integration, with the participation of representatives from political parties, the Autonomous Administration bodies, and community organizations in Kobane city.

The forum was attended by a number of politicians from various parties, members of the Internal Security Forces, the Autonomous Administration bodies, and democratic community organizations affiliated with the PYD in the city.

The forum's proceedings were structured around three main themes. Anwar Muslim; the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) in the Euphrates canton, led the first session, which addressed the current situation and the structural problems of the centralized system. He emphasized that democratic decentralization constitutes a legal and political framework that guarantees the unity of the country, ensures the effective participation of all its components, and contributes to building a sound administration based on justice and the distribution of powers.

The second session was led by Bozan Khalil, the co-chair of the PYD in the Euphrates canton, who discussed the concept of democratic integration from a political and organizational perspective. He explained that it is based on the principle of partnership between political and community forces, respect for pluralism, and the integration of roles within a democratic social contract, leading to the establishment of a participatory system of governance free from exclusion and domination.

In the third session, Berivan Ismail, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Council, delivered a presentation on the role of women in the revolution and in consolidating the democratic integration. She emphasized that women's participation in decision-making institutions represents a political commitment and a fundamental legal principle in any democratic project. She noted that the Rojava experience has demonstrated that women's liberation is a cornerstone of social and democratic stability.

The forum concluded with a discussion among attendees on the importance of democratic dialogue as a political and legal tool for managing disagreements, and the necessity of developing mechanisms for joint action to address current challenges, ultimately leading to a comprehensive Syrian political solution based on democratic decentralization, the rule of law, and the guarantee of rights and freedoms.
